Last Sunday (the 24th), 16 volunteers (including both local and international volunteers) of VAF met in Blind School for an all-day spent on creating world maps for blind students. For each continent, we sewed the borders in relief so that blinds could feel them and picture the shape and the location of each country. All the volunteers were deeply involved in their work and we warmly thank them for their precious help. Nevertheless, our work is not finished yet and we have new ideas to improve these special maps. Tung, a blind student of the 9th grade, recommended us to fill out the countries with different materials so blind people can have a clearer image of them. A new appointment is planned for this Friday (29th of March). Once again, VAF would like to send to all our volunteers a deep thank for spending their time on the project!
